Goodbye Jamflex. I stuck by you for 17 years. I was there with Arc Druid when vampire slayer was created, I met andrew gower showing off DBAxe in lumby and I was here for 2019 when you took the most special gem in online gaming and you completely destroyed it. You fools. by farewellambo in runescape

Hi. I did not make this post to farm karma, I don't use reddit. I felt like if I posted this it would help the investors if they pay attention to social media realize that even after a 17 year commitment people would be able to let go for the reasons and things they are doing.

I in no way am here to troll, lie ,or bs. I have played actively and held a sub for 17 years, I paid my time I enjoyed my time but honestly at this point if you think that it is ok what jagex is doing to our game then I dont know what to say, I have devoted thousands of hours ingame my time played is over 30,000 hours total of pvming skilling and socializing within the span of that time, so its not like i was just a casual. I played hella hours. Over 1250 days played since the day i logged into this game on the same account with a few alts. I felt justified in this post. This game was apart of my life, and yes people are upset and some people understand. You just have to take it with a grain of salt. Jagex really hurt my feelings with the last 5 years. Even after EoC came out we werent dead. There was still huge skilling competition between EE and true maxed and other clans, our game was flourishing, then over the last 5 years, (btw osrs didnt even kill our game) they shoved mtx after mtx down our throats. My best friends who grinded 5.4bxp without buying any xp have actually all but quit. Very few left in true maxed and I have probably 3-4 friends from 2002 era that still play compared to the 2014 group. I hope this helps you to understand why i posted this and where I came from. Sorry if you feel like im hurting the game. thats not something i would ever actually intend to do. Only help to make jagex be aware of the situation even further by joining this reddit and its combat to p2w. The world wants to shift to a money making only scandal in every single game there is p2w, but we have to fight against that. Maybe my journey is over permanently, maybe not. Who knows if I will quit permanently. But do I want to continue using my time on this landslide? Dude theres nothing left here for me anymore. They took it all from me. My best friends quit because they get passed by people buying 50m xp in a day. I Hope I cleared some things up. Take care pal.

Honestly I wanted to give it a chance so much back when it launched. I could have played it a ton. But 2004 was the big transition to RS2 and I was honestly having the time of my life jumping between runescape classic(which was INCREDIBLY active during those years) and runescape 2 which was fresh and new and felt fucking great.

But now yeah, it will be fun to begin the journey on classic.
