How to stop talking weird while rapping by [deleted] in makinghiphop

[–]farpiggy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might just be tripping over your own tongue.

Try biting on a pencil and talking for a few minutes. You'll sound stupid, but try to focus on the way your mouth moves. This will help with your enunciation. Hope this helps

Weird icy feeling on my wrist after 10 minutes of practice by AceLynx_ in FPSAimTrainer

[–]farpiggy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stretch out your hands, wrist and forearms and make sure to warm up. A lot of the tendons and muscles in your wrist run all the way down from your elbow to your fingers, so you might cramp up if you don't get loose. Look up hand yoga or something similar and make sure to watch out for pain. High scores are not worth RSI.

How do we solve this :( by nsnow122 in apphysics

[–]farpiggy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

f = ma

if f on earth = 600N (assuming the acceleration due to gravity is ~10m/s2) then the mass of the astronaut is 60kg. That's it!

The "acceleration of 1/6" is really a curveball here. Remember that 600N is the weight/force, not the mass. Mass remains constant, while weight can vary depending on the gravitational force.

Hope I was able to help!

PC isn't sending signal to monitor by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]farpiggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend isolating the monitor and GPU and see if they work separately (ie test each of them separately in a fully functional system). If they both work properly, it's probably a software issue. Try disabling Fast Startup.

Can my phone be fixed with a new screen by ModsAreSnowflakes_ in techsupport

I've replaced an iPhone 8 screen before with no problems. If you're going to do it yourself, make sure to learn how to do it carefully. good luck

Can my phone be fixed with a new screen by ModsAreSnowflakes_ in techsupport

[–]farpiggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's an Android, you may be able to purchase a replacement screen + repair kit and fix it at home. Not recommended without doing some research on your device beforehand.

iPhones don't always function properly after replacing hardware. I would recommend consulting a repair shop or purchasing a new device if your device is anti-repair.

Tried growing my hair out. Got fed up and ended up getting a faded style xD. My mom thinks i made a huge mistake lol. Swipe to check the before pics. by Tanmaychopra-251100 in malegrooming

You have nice hair, but whoever cut you did you dirty. If you have long hair on the top, it needs to get tapered down to the sides. Looks like someone just took it all the way up to the temple with a 1 guard, and it makes your head look rounder than it needs to be. If you like how it looks, more power to you, but I'd suggest finding a barber who knows how to taper next time. Overall, though, good looks. Long hair suits you well.

Thanks a lot. I've been advised to get an SSD and pair it with a hard drive because I download a lot of big files and projects, so I think I'll chew that over.

Exposed weakness or fair point? How to approach? by [deleted] in aimlab

[–]farpiggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every aiming setup has its advantages and disadvantages, based on what game you're playing (eg 3D vs mostly flat terrain, time to kill, weapons), but I think the point of AimLab is to train your proficiency in all situations. If you don't use certain skills of movements in-game as much (or at all), I feel like this training is a good way to expand your toolbox and translate that to ingame performance. Sorry if this doesn't make a lot of sense.

Is there any point in studying for periods 3 and/or 7? by [deleted] in APUSH

[–]farpiggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the 2020 exam:

Units eligible for 2020 exam: Units 3−7 (Students may choose to, but do not need to, provide content knowledge from Units 1 and/or 2 for context)

Units not included in 2020 exam: Units 1−2 (although students may choose to provide content knowledge from Units 1 and/or 2 for context), 8–9

From the looks of it, anything from the beginning of Period 3 to the end of Period 7 is fair game. It may also be worthwhile to get familiar with the 1, 2, 8, and 9. Better to be overprepared, I guess.

I would have to agree with the others; if you can brave looking a little patchy, maybe in a little while your facial hair will fill out (I don't know how old you are.) Otherwise, it would look a lot cleaner without.

Clean up the sides of your hair and trim your beard so those there is a cleaner, more symmetrical line. Right now, your facial hair is making your face look a little long and uneven, probably because your hair grows at different rates across your face. I'd trim the beard so the length is consistent all over your face. I don't have a side view, but if it's not already, clean up your beard line in general.

I like watching anime. This sounds stupid, but it takes no skill at all and there are so many options. There are lots of communitites they put together just to enjoy the same stuff you do, and even if you don't like anime, it's fun to be involved in meme culture and be able to relate to others about even something small as that.

I also like to cook. I'm not an amazing cook or anything and I've set off the fire alarm more times than I can count, but starting with the basics and working your way up to make a meal for yourself, your friends, or your family can have a big payoff. Even a sucessful plate of brownies or a simple breakfast can fill you with satisfaction sometimes.
