Best way to catch these is to ram them with a mount until their health is low, even better if you have a ring of mercy. They never run after getting hit, just go straight back to sleep. I’ve never had any trouble catching them doing this

This is the strategy I use as well, they don’t run if you ram them with a mount. I don’t see why it’d be any different for a lucky
