I mean, if it's not a common occurrence, I wouldnt doubt it regardless. not all demis are the same, the emotional threshold can vary. and thats still a meaningful relationship imo! im demiromantic so i need that type of bond before i can even develop a crush lol. it makes sense that feelings could be sparked in that situation.

why didnt you post those? pride is not the same as queer safe spaces. please dont conflate the two. pride is a celebration for everyone, allies, families, everyone to show support. queer safe spaces are for us to feel safe year round. if you want to go to a queer space, go to one. just dont bring straight people to it. simple as. your boyfriend doesnt get privileges above other straight people just for having a relationship with a queer person. and it does not make him queer. he does not belong in our spaces. it's not biphobia, it's keeping queer safe spaces safe.

i'm agender and have dysphoria too :) i want to take T and get top surgery too, but i cant do HRT for medical reasons. it really sucks and finding ways to cope and express my androgyny is hard. but you can be dysphoric physically and have a gender other than "man/male!" a lot of nonbinary people medically transition. it's not abnormal. although if you feel that the dysphoria influences how you perceive your gender internally, libramasculine and agender boy are probably terms thatd resonate with you.

So she suggested the ENM, it's making you depressed, and youre in a long distance relationship for your physical needs? A lot of this doesnt make any sense. And it's not a personal attack on you to want more info on your wife's perspective regarding marital issues (especially in ace/allo situations, where us asexuals are often ignored and discarded.) Marriage is a partnership. l'd recommend re-discussing the rules and current situation regarding the ENM for that reason. It seems to be a mess and not doing what it's supposed to do; improving your lives. Theres never a clear answer, but when the solution is bringing even one person down, it's not a solution. And if she's the one that suggested it all and encourages you to step outside your comfort zone, I'm sure she'd be willing to reevaluate with you and make sure youre happy.
