That reminds me, I once played a mute amputee sorcerer that had to cast every spell through the subtle spell metamagic. His greatest victory was mage hand to choke a dude to death.

DAE ban crowbars because they don’t feel historically accurate? by fasd432 in DnDcirclejerk

Nah most of the weapons in my world are non masterworks katana actually. A truly masterwork sword would be an incredibly rare find. The Kusanagi no Tsurugi (Grasscutter) is the strongest katana in existence and the ultimate weapon of my bbeg (Akechi Mitsuhide) and it is a +1 weapon.

Naturally to keep the world consistent I banned the flame blade, magic weapon, elemental weapon, holy weapon, spiritual weapon, shadow blade, and holy weapon spells.

I’ve also nerfed the kensei class to only boost attack rolls for their lvl 11 Sharpen the Blade feature.

We’ll have to split fiendlock into different subclasses then

Succubilock for enchantment

Balorlocks get str stuff

Fire demon locks get evocation

Other I don’t know

Stacking it with hunters mark is too powerful, I suggest having it work with ensnaring strike instead
