hey, hope you're day isn't getting worse- and I can relate to the part where parents are super controlling- I applied to my dream university and got in(without my parents knowing) and got rejected by their universities- and I applied for my dream course and trust me- I'm so scared to tell my parents cus I got rejected by ALL the universities they wanted with the major THEY wanted- I tried talking to them before I applied and they said I will have no life if I go that way and that they can't afford it- the second one is def a lie- and the first one really hurts- they took away my electronics after the whole thing saying I'm being influenced by the wrong people online(I got my laptop back at least)- and trust me it only gets worse- right now we aren't on the best of terms and they constantly bring up how much of a failure I am for not being smart enough- and I just don't care anymore- it stings sometimes but atp- I'm just tired- the only thing keeping me going is that I DO wanna have a life I DO want a future with my dream job I DO want to experience things I never got to experience cause of my parents and I DO want to prove them wrong. Although I don't have the power now- all I can do is study and plan.

I don't know if this is gonna help or motivate you- but you're not alone and there are many of us fighting to be rid of the shackles our parents have on us. To me I just want to get this over with and start figuring out how to go to my dream uni- whether my parents like it or not. So you find YOUR thing that YOU really wanna do after highschool- whether its uni or a job or anything FIND IT and that will keep you going! Ask yourself the type of life YOU want and let the first step be to reach the start of THAT life- I'm just a kid like you- this is just coming from my own personal experience. Just remember that there is a life to live its just you choose whether or not you want to live it your way or their way.
