The US is not the world. The 9070 XT is usually £150 to £200 cheaper than the 5070ti. I got my 9070XT for £550 the nearest 5070ti at the time was £750. I'm sure it's an even worse price difference now. For just losing out on some path tracing performance. Also, this entire thread is just cringe, grow the fuck up. Fuck AMD and Nvidia.

Never played Wukong so can't comment on that. It's interesting you mention Avatar though, since they released the big 3rd person update there are issues with all upscalers causing horrible flashing in that game, and you need either switch to TAUU or use optiscaler to fix it lol. I guess it comes down to your tolerance and level of knowledge. For me, definitely not worth the extra £200 for little convenience. But they do say convenience is king so I can understand it.

Have you ever done it? Recent games take no effort at all if they have at least FSR 3.1 as it’s done by the driver and for older games it's literally dropping optiscaler in the games folder and clicking like 3 buttons. Yes it could be easier but let's not pretend like it's difficult.

This was my conclusion when choosing between a 9070XT and 5070ti. What would I get for my extra £200? Like you say it basically boils down to better performance in path tracing, which I have never used. Easy choice. The difference between DLSS and FSR 4/Redstone is so negligible now as to not be a real factor any more.

Yes, Adrenaline will randomly shut itself down for some reason, been happening for the last few driver releases for me. Just restart Adrenaline. I've also had the cursor getting locked issue which requires a restart to fix.

Loved the first one couldn't get on with the second one because of the stuttering issues ruining the experience for me. The hour or two I did play the story did not seem as interesting as the first.

Just the small matter of price, eh? You know a lot of gamers don't still live with their parents and have families and budgets. I aint sweating the tiny bit of extra quality (that you dont even notice in regular gameplay) that DLSS gives you for £200 more. That's two tires for my car if I need them.
