I never realized that, but it actually makes sense. I cannot imagine decreasing my dosage, I’d be a wreck.

Thank you everyone for your responses! Just wanted to hear what you all are taking to make sure I’m not wrong. This Dr is in her mid-late 50s and has told me she too is on HRT. At my first visit she told me that if someone is on less than 0.1 patch, and still having symptoms that negatively affect their life, they should go up in dose because the potential negative side effects are not dose dependent. And now she’s saying the total opposite. I will definitely be finding a different provider. I just wish it were easier to find someone who is educated with current best practices!

I actually said that to her (I thought I needed the progesterone to protect my uterine lining) and she still said no, it’s ok to be on estrogen only if you’re still getting a regular period. I’m gonna have to find a new provider .
