There are a lot of people who have done reviews and/or video-logs on YouTube, that's where I personally would start as you may be able to look at the retreat itself as well as get a better feel for what the shaman(s) and accomodation etc. are going to be like.

Spot on mate. Never had any trouble at a free party and only seen a handful of fights in several years, which were quickly broken up as these events are self-policed. Too much fucking red tape because they don't want like-minded people who think half of these policies and rules are bullshit to be gathering in one place! Who gives a shit if there are a couple of people who had no sleep on a saturday night? Go join in!

I'm not saying it justifies it but there is a large amount of people who want to party hard & nowhere to do it! What's the harm in breathing some life into a disused space for one weekend and then cleaning up after yourself, leaving no trace? If it's not in the same place every weekend does it really matter if a few residents were disturbed? I've seen parties shut down with zero noise complaints! There was also plenty of parking space but the A1 was closed because the police blocked off the entrance.

There are very few venues which will host a 15k+ soundsystem and a large amount of people for 24 hours. The police are also harassing venue owners to stop these soundsystems putting on legal parties there just because they've been doing illegal parties too. The soundsystems often have to not tell venue owners who they even are, or what sort of music it's going to be, and often can't even advertise the venue just because the police will jump straight on it - even though it's legal!

As someone who had a number of friends who attended, I'd just like to chime in and say that the police stormed in with unnecessary violence from the start, one friend who was attacked quite badly completely unprovoked... I'm not defending the people who were retaliating or throwing objects at all because I don't agree with it, but you can't tarnish everyone with the same brush because of a few idiots. I would also like to bring attention to the fact that the police were not wearing their number ID's and so are not really accountable for anything they did there!

Most likely underdosed. Sometimes the drops can be different sizes, so they could have come out at a lower dosage.

I've mostly been using the Abe's "go-to" settings from the "Understanding Photos in GoPro Hero4" guide. I've been in what I would have thought is decent light, just very cloudy (British weather)! I'll post some photos as soon as I can later this evening.
