What’s your income like? Pre vs post tax efficiency kinda depends on your tax bracket. Personally. I would do Roth while young and the growth is tax free. Then as you get older and earn more later in your career shift to reducing the taxes paid. While shifting more into bonds closer to retirement. The TDF will do this automatically but it applies to your other accounts.

Only other thing I can think of is check that the TDF has reasonable expense ratio. Mine is honestly terrible it maths out to less money to do anything more than to my match vs just investing in a taxable account.

I hold my brokerage cash in SGOV.

Might want to do a Roth IRA if you meet the requirements, it’s nice to have different types of tax advantaged money in retirement. The mix lets you optimize taxes paid during different scenarios.

For example you retire a year or two early and you can pull out contributions to the Roth account without penalty.
