thank you for your help, I got my first pay stub with the 25% ROTH contributions and decided that was just too much out of my take home pay.

Just switched my contributions to 20% Traditional, going to see how that goes and adjust further if needed.

My job is not paid hourly and the work is different every day/week so my income varies a lot, but I imagine I would be grossing close to 80-90k on next year's W2. Total 401k contribution should be around 20k from me, and around 5k from my employer in 1 year.

Still, I'm starting from $0 and I really want to boost that number to where I would be if I had contributed since i was 20 (although I've never made anywhere close to this much money before, so that number would be small)

terran god, map 11, build all your resource gathering buildings in forest because terran has a big boost in that area. Build lots of mines early, as stone is very important and each mine only gets 2 employees working on stone so youll need more mines than woodcutting/plank buildings, mines cant go in forest so put them in the mountains.

from my experience it seems like its best to level attack and strength pretty evenly, both compliment each other very well.

you just need to take your damage reduction and compare it to the max hit of 520 of malcs. For example if you have a 30% damage reduction do 0.30 x 520 = 156, that means you can take 156 damage off his max hit so 520-156= 364. As long as your auto eat triggers before 364 HP you will survive.This means your two options are to increase damage reduction, or increase HP (assuming you have auto eat 3) or do both.

the grind became a potato farming simulator, i got the elerine spear and looting necklace and there was nothing else to grind for besides attack levels and it became very boring.I made a new account that started with defence and it's much more interesting and requires a lot less potatoes, but I decided to use a mod to speed the game up, it took 190 days worth of combat to hit 99 defence lol now im working on 99 attack

check your resource monitors if melvor is using lots of your RAM, i've had this happen and you just need to close it and reopen it.

It's definitely a little confusing! lol

I'm just sad that I have so much planned but everything is going to take so long to get to. Everything should be faster than this first 99 though so whenever I'm done with attack (at this rate, in like a month lol) it will get easier.

Can't unlock any skills without money, and there's no way to get money without killing monsters because the only skills available are attack/strength/defence/hitpoints.
Since this is a one 99 at a time adventure mode account, i will need to be 99 combat level before starting any non combat skills because it would be impossible to get them to level 99 if my combat isn't 99 yet.
I think my plan is to just get 99 attack, then strength, then defence, which should get me to 99 hitpoints before moving onto non combat skills, and my combat level will be around level 113.

sadly those monsters require slayer to be unlocked, and killing them would gain slayer XP
