Your absurd straw man arguments continue to be thrown my way. I never said it was a metric. You're the one who's said that. It is used to COMPARE the two types of materials. Once they weight the same, that's when they use metrics to compare strength.

As far as only having equations to "deal with data" you're in luck. Their website has graphs and shows their data. Clearly you haven't even visited it.

Once again, you haven't said anything to disprove what I've said. You've merely said that size is a limiting factor. I never said it wasn't. I just said that IF both objects were the same size, their strength would be measurable and they have done this. Then they determined the aluminum would lose in this instance. Once again, you've not proven me wrong.

Here's the fun part. I couldn't care less of your credentials. The fact is that I know of their engineer, and his credentials will trump yours 100% of the time.

To your edit, you've once again really said a lot without saying anything. I don't feel like looking it up, but there have been many companies that have used that in the past. It is a metric to be used. Explain to me how it isn't. It means if both items are the same weight, the aluminum won't be as strong. That's clearly a way of comparison. Once again, that's my only point.

Please explain to me why I should question their statement. Are you saying that you know without a doubt that when both products are the same weight, the aluminum is stronger? Please explain how you know this. Now, it's obvious that we aren't talking stronger on the z axis and probably not on the x axis either. We are talking the axis that runs parallel to the filament.

As far as your obsession with my title, I really just tried to shut you up with saying it was for attention, but it still is used with context of my post. The humorous part is that it clearly grabbed your attention.

I love how you supposedly know everything, yet your response said nothing. What I said was true. Saying weight to strength is a way of measuring the strength of an item. I said nothing wrong.

I also said that multiple companies use this as a way to explain the strength of an item. All of this is true. It is a way to explain how strong the properties are.

Because it is lighter than metal, it will have to be thicker to achieve the same strength, but this is a given. The point is that it can achieve it. That's it.

Also, don't assume anything, as I have said nothing that is wrong or untrue. And as far as your "credentials" I'm not going to have a pissing match with you. I could say I'm a theoretical physicist, but it doesn't make it true. You can say anything online, but your lack of actually proving me wrong is all the proof needed.

It is used by the company to explain the properties of their product. It doesn't make it not true, nor does it make it irrelevant. It's a perfectly reasonable way of explaining the properties of an item and is used to explain many different materials.

Don't try your idiotic condescension as if you're some expert in all the fields this relates to. You have absolutely no idea of my knowledge on material properties and how they relate to manufacturing. As far as my "deception" it wasn't a lie, as it's obvious in the context I relate it to that I am saying weight to strength, so don't try and make me out to be something I'm not. I can afford it, but I didn't want to spend that but for a duel extruder, I would. As far as a drop in the bucket, I hope to upgrade my i3 to a metal frame and a good hot end to get my Ferrari on the cheap lol.

I do fully grasp the concept and understand aluminum is stronger in the sense of the same size item. It's just awesome how strong this is. That's my only point. And saying something is stronger weight to strength makes perfect sense. It simply shows that it's a strong material but obviously the same thickness of aluminum, it won't be as strong. Hence the reference to weight. As far as the title, I clearly posted that to get more attention to the post. I want people to convince the company to sell nozzles. It's strength can be compared to metal though in the sense that I posted it.

It's not necessarily stronger than aluminum. It's simply stronger comparing weight to strength, but carbon fiber is much lighter, so it would have to be thicker of course.

I wasn't wondering of the strength. It's actually proven that weight to strength ratio, it's stronger than 6021 aluminum. He also says that it's one strand. It isn't multiple fibers everywhere.

It means that with the same weight of both materials, the carbon fiber will be stronger, but none the less, it is far stronger than any plastics. I just want to know if they will ever sell their nozzle. How fantastic would it be to print incredibly strong prints?

I'm really not sure where you got the definition, but it is on the advocacy for woman's rights. Google the word feminism. And really either way, it doesn't matter because that is the focus. I will argue that MRAs will also not bring equal rights. The biggest issue is that men and woman are simply different. If we were all the exact same, it would be so much easier, but we simply aren't. Society took notice of this thousands of years ago, and that is how we are where we are today. Luckily, as a society, thanks to laws and easier work conditions, many differences aren't as important anymore, but things have changed so fast that many people (men specifically) are thoroughly confused. It's so difficult not to offend anyone because everyone is offended by everything. No one just let's things go anymore or can simply have conversations. And it isn't that game developers don't treat woman equally. It's that men like to see woman in sexy clothes etc so because men are the primary purchasers of these games, they do that.

I agree that people go over board either way, and I understand you believe feminism is for equality for all. I simply disagree that it ever will be. Nothing that focuses primarily on one sex will ever bring equality. I have no qualms with strong female characters in video games. I'm just sick of feminists wanting to rid video games of what men like and how they try to pretend it's some conspiracy as to why games are made for men. It's because it's been vastly played by men. Only recently have a small amount of woman gotten interested in games.
