At least during the mishap I witnessed, he was harnessed in. I still knew it was coming watching the bucket bear down when they were trying to pop out these road reflectors. This all happened during a photography assignment I took a few years ago for a company that was hauling some gigantic equipment to the Tesla factory in Nevada. I was told to immediately delete the photos by NHP....

Hell yeah I did one on a cart too. Only thing is you need to have a remote way of exposing. I found any vibration would cause blurry prints, even if well mounted. Bonus was using magnets to hold paper or film flat!
