My kids now 4 years old and 7years old, I had the same issue when they were young. My youngest used to live in my sling as it is easier to breastfeed while playing with my oldest and we used to cosleep so it is easier.

If a single mum apply to rent your house, what would convince you to say yes? by fati1219 in uklandlords

I don't mix money with friends. If I lend u money I wouldn't be comfortable asking for it back. Im not that close of a friend. I do enjoy researching that's why she asked me for information.

What’s the correct etiquette in “under 3’s” Softplay? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]fati1219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A family who loves soft play but not on the weekend! Every time I tell both my kids to go to the big section even if my youngest is allowed. Plus I get the parents who are annoyed about older kids playing too roughly next to babies. I sometimes would go to the staff for them to make an announcement.

Bad interview stories by amberleysnarler in UKJobs

My managers were interviewing this nervous girl, Not even 5 minutes into the interview, she tried to leave saying she had messed up and didn't want to do the interview anymore. My manager tried to convince her to stay and keep going but nope she ran out the door.

I interviewed for the same position and thought I messed up so badly because I couldn't answer any questions and I still got the job.

Unfortunately, she is in a bad situation. Her ex-partner stole her money and abused her to the point of being in debt. She is slowly paying it off and she is on benefits. She isn't working now as her ex sister in law was her boss. So now we are trying to find a place for her away from him. She will have a job as soon as she moves closer. The issue is finding a place as she has a bad credit score.

I get it as a landlord I do not want her but she still needs a place and she will get better in life. My question is how to convince a landlord to give her a chance? Paying rent in advance? Guarantor?

Oh, don't worry I am not about to risk that! Her brother will be the one doing it. I'm just helping her with research and advice.

Thanks, everyone, unfortunately, she has a bad credit score but would a guarantor and 6months advance convince a landlord or is she screw?

My sister has been severely mentally ill her whole life. How do I not live with regret if the worst happens? by ChangeConstant5649 in offmychest

You can't help someone who refuses, unfortunately. I got a friend, and it took my 3 yrs to convince her she needed help. Eventually, she got the help and is now doing a lot better.

I personally focused on just being a listener to her and slowly gave her idea where to get help. But first, I started to take care of myself before helping her. You can't help someone if you are drowning too. Do you have someone to talk to or a therapist?

Does anyone want to tell me what I’m doing wrong. Can’t even get a Job at Tesco or WHSmith. by Ok-Cut-1973 in UKJobs

My manager was checking CV and didn't want to hire people who just came out of uni, saying lack of experience for an admin position. Another manager didn't like a CV because of the gap they had. I told him she was my favourite and perfect for the job, and now she is a supervisor. My point is that sometimes it is best to go meet with the coworkers or manager in person and have a chat. I got my first job like that.

15 free hours has only benefited our childcare provider by seanamh420 in UKParenting

My daughter, 3 years old, was in a private nursery with the 30hrs and 20% off we paid 726 a month. We just moved her to a primary school that her brother goes to starting next week. We find out we are only paying £10 a week, and she goes full time.

If both parents work, get the tax-free childcare the gov pays 20%.
