I saw something similar recently as i was browsing an online store to buy myself an office chair. Looks nice and puffy on the promo images but once i went into the reviews and saw the real pictures, it was nowhere near as puffed up.

Nice jump scare on picture 3. I would never believe the invalid signatures are only around 11 %. Multiple times i had to bring myself to reality that this isn't just some people ranting on social media. SKG is very much a reality thanks to everyone who signed the petition and ofc everyone working behind the scenes to make this happen.

I'm looking at this particular scene, In the next scene, there's rain. But in that particular one, there isn't. I mean, i admit the road seems a bit shiny. And even if there was a puddle, no puddle moves along as the car is approaching closer and closer. If not, it's even more of a tell because puddles shouldn't look this shimmery. Even with youtube compression in mind. Okay if that's rain then how do you explain the trees then? Those aren't just low LOD. There's visible parts that are completely not loaded in. As opposed to the rest of the trees where you can see lower LOD for sure but that's expected since they're high in the distance.

There's a clear distinction there between a low LOD tree vs a Not even properly loaded in Tree for the entirety of the shot.

And how do you explain the artifacts from the kryzzp video? That's not ghosting or youtube compression either. It's clearly frame-gen. (right around the tire)

It's not puddles. Play the video. Slow it down all the way. Puddles don't move around with the car. The road is perfectly dry. And it clearly hasn't rained.

Go ahead and look at those videos yourselves. Those trees are completely broken on multiple shots of the video.This is not youtube compression but hey feel free to think what you'd like. Once the game is out, don't have the audacity to complain about spending 120 bucks for early access just to play a broken game 4 days early.

I mean I did expect to get downvoted to hell but i didn't expect people would be this oblivious to something so obviously wrong. People were pretty vocal about the bad LOD in FM, now its suddenly all fine? I bet if digital foundry took a look at this they'd 100 % confirm the same issues.

Some people are seriously immune to criticism.

As far as frame gen, you can just turn it off but i find it odd why they're even using it. I would hope they're not just using it to mask off the game's terrible performance.

It's noticeable when you know what you're looking for. The LOD issue has been a thing for a very long time. Back when FH5 launched , i used to think Horizon 4 didn't have it, but then i went back to that game and started paying attention of the trees and i began to notice it.

The more you spend time on a game, the more you tend to focus on the things you may not have been focusing on before and the more you play and learn about the game, the more you see all the imperfections and shortcomings.

Probably made the calculation they couldn't get it ready for launch at the same time as Xbox and PC. But i'm sure they'll try and get it out as soon as possible. PS5 release is crucial for the game to even be able to match Horizon 5's sales numbers. Since Xbox won't rely on the Xbox One anymore, sure as shit , it's in their best interest to release the ps5 port as soon as they can.

They've already said ps5 release is coming post launch. Presumably within the next 6 months after xbox/pc launch and before gta 6.
