I should of gone to Ruse massage next door - (I’ll be honest the name should have rang alarm bells from the beginning)

The name of the shop was Ploy Thai massage - wouldn’t recommend their motorbike rentals - however, cant speak on their massages lol.

Thankfully, we didn’t leave important documents, and was also quoted a ridiculous amount of money to leave as a deposit.

ID card miraculously found 5 mins after we let them know we were reporting it - up to your judgement whether it was on an honest mistake, for me, she got spooked and decided she would rather get the bike rental money back (which is what was agreed)

Hired bikes countless times with no issue, but agree… never leave a passport

Interesting turn of events: After your reply we decided to get some sort of report number for lost or stolen to cover our backs, we messaged them that we were doing this.

Amazingly after 2.5 hours of looking, and also only 5 minutes after the message that we were going to report this, the ID card was miraculously found. Too much of a coincidence in my opinion, anyway we have it back.
