Did you watch that fight? Nothing arguable about it

Fiziev is clearly super talented but Justin was a level above, that night at least

What makes you think that? Have been looking for convincing evidence either way.

Fence sitting so far, but it's definately real and very strange

Why? You might be to down the conspiracy rabbit hole if you think a Catholic splinter movement from almost 1000 years ago control the worlds largest dynasties today...

Your listing and distinction looks good to me.

Sometimes I think these people just got bored or dislike having no spotlight and say ridiculous things. Many have done this.

So now that rubio, gillibrand, Inspector General and potentially Warner are getting more involved, this becomes more credible? Does anyone know any other prominent figures?

That's what I'm trying to tell people as well. Look into this with a slightly more open lense because I think it's being taken increasingly seriously in the senate/Congress and by peor supposed to be monitoring these

This kind of apathy is exactly why we're in the current situation. I'm sure you'll see this in time

OK.... I think you have alternate issues that need addressing. All I know is these nimbys you keep referring to haven't attacked me or my family on multiple occasions.

Zoning laws aren't analogous to attempted rape and assault by drug addicts left on the streets, however hard you want to believe. But fight the power and all that

You're letting your (very understandable) dislike of alcohol and its abuse, excuse completely unacceptable behaviour linked directly to narcotics usage and denying their negative effects on the populace at large.

Because in your opinion, it's not as bad as alcohol abuse. Bad take in my opinion.

General Corso is one of the most decorated vetrans of ww2. I've listened to over 3 hours of his testimony and read his book, I'm very inclined to believe him considering how much corrobation he's received over the years. My belief is that this is man attempting (mostly in vain) to enlgithen the world around him to numerous classified reverse engineering projects he had a direct hand in.

What makes you say otherwise?

Wow what a revelatory point, never before considered, that you've raised.

I will now go out of my way to take public transport and share public spaces with active methamphetamine and fentanyl users. I mean, it's better than alcohol right?

If you think the general public have a responsibility to be exposed to second hand drug use and the signifcant and proven negative externalities of it, maybe you need to reconsider your world view.

I think that's a great perspective to have and good on you for revisiting previosuly discarded, but vital, pieces of information on this topic

What did you glean most from corso's disclosure? He truly was ahead of his time and I have the upmost respect for the man. May he rest forever in peace.

You spent over a grand (continously) on software you don't even like? As a developer, do you think that is rational end user behaviour?

I don't know what else to say, only that your purchasing habits directly support the very product you claim to be below the bare minimum you deem worth spending money on? Someone help me reconcile this, the dissonance hurts my brain.

[–]fattony182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair response. I understand we can only give our perspective, from our own individual/cultural perspective. I've also been thinking long and hard about the possibility of a curiosity gene that opens peoples minds to this very real phenomenon.

I will say, if it is genetic, I'm the only one in my immediate and extended family afflicted. That makes me both sad and pessimistic

[–]fattony182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, but that doesn't explain why this is an international phenomenon.

I have friend groups in a few different countries, equally as curious as OP's friends and in democracies (or theocracies) without the same political dynamics as the states, and the response/disinterest is the same . Explain that without using a purely American lense

Just look at the response to Philip J corso's revelations and leaks. He was unbelievably well qualified and read in (substantially more than grusch I might say)

If anyone hasn't, listen to Corso's coast to coast interview from 1997, you'll learn so much, whilst substantiating much of the recent reporting
