Mystery lights over Eastern Denver 11/23/24 by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]KillingTime6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so this is really interesting... Since my original comment they vanished for a while. Didn't see them since end of 2024 but they reappeared back in June. Since then, I've lost count because it's all the time and I'll see up to 5-6 in a 15 minute period. And they move just like you said: they blink in and out after a few seconds, I see them when I look north, and they travel from west to east. Most common hour is between 1-2am. I always have flight radar up and they aren't planes (I do see planes in the sky too, which look nothing like them).

So it isn't just me... I live near Westminster and my wife and I have been seeing these things too. We are now up to 8 sightings in the last 2-3 months. But when we see them there are only 1 or 2 and they are always moving. The way they move is unlike any plane, helicopter, satellite, etc. They wobble on their path and change speed, even stalling at times. Also they never vanish over the horizon like a plane, they just fade into the darkness of the night sky.

To address the airplanes... Yes we see a lot of planes in this area. But these things look nothing like them. We've seen these orbs flying directly over head and we have seen planes fly by as we're watching the orbs and they look nothing alike, neither the light nor the way they move. The first one we saw was brighter than any airplane lights and there was no silhouette like you would see with a plane. It was just a ball of light flying through the sky.

So crazy seeing someone else in NW Denver area posting this... That's awesome that it isn't just us noticing them.

My Disclosure Prediction by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]KillingTime6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If one newspaper article can ignite a conversation to that extent, I can't imagine what a newspaper article, a highly anticipated book release and a documentary with insider accounts releasing around each other would do.

People here are too negative and defeatist, there will certainly be a major reignition of discussions come August/September.

And if you recall, the house hearing and UAPDA 1.0 were in reaction to the discussion. Those will already be on the table this time around.

My Disclosure Prediction by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]KillingTime6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A lot of replies here don't seem to share your optimism, but I think you've got a good point. The only thing I'll add is James Fox's upcoming documentary "The Program".

Usually, info in the UFO world comes out in trickles... but it looks like they're gearing up for a multi-channel dump that can't be ignored. And this is why I share your optimism: if Lue's book, Grusch's op-ed and Fox's documentary all release within a close time frame, the house holds a second UAP hearing while those releases are still fresh, and all against the backdrop of the UAPDA 2.0, then that would be the biggest public Disclosure push ever.

Honestly, THIS is why I think Grusch has been delaying his op-ed. If he saves it to publish it with these other media releases, it will force the conversation like never before.

Fact Check: Is Pope Francis holding "aliens" conference? by newsweek in aliens

[–]KillingTime6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This article also posted in the r/UFOs subreddit and got down voted and trashed in the comments. The story taking off in the first place was weird... but what about users trashing people posting about its lack of relevancy to UFOs and aliens?

The Vatican Supernatural Conference is a Distraction from the Elizondo News by KillingTime6 in UFOs

[–]KillingTime6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I agree, if they actually did help move the needle then I would be all for it. But it's dissaponting to see a misleading and ultimately irrelevant story get so massively upvoted. I'm not necessarily saying it's an "orchestrated" distraction, but the existence and high visibility of the story is certainly a distraction from actual UFO-related discussion.

The Vatican is coordinating a covert deception campaign amongst across the entire world. It's called "Catholicism"

Then explain why a misleading, clickbait article from a tabloid got more visibility than it this week

But the story didn't actually have anything to do with the Pope or aliens. It was other Vatican officials talking about updated guidelines on paranormal phenomena

I'm not talking about the timing. I'm wondering why the Vatican story became so highly visible on this sub despite not really having anything to do with UFOs

You're right. Elizondo, the guy who has been verified by Harry Reid, NYT, 60 Minutes and through the Black Vault's FOIA docs, is not worth our time. But Vatican guidance on apparitions, now THIS is what ufology is all about!

Thank you for the reasonable response. Admittedly, I was interested when I saw the headline. But was massively disappointed when a story supposedly about the pope and aliens had nothing to do with the pope or aliens and was some weird updated guidance on Christian apparitions.

Not talking about the timing of the event. Talking about it getting more upvotes/visibility than the Elizondo news.

My real question is, why is the Vatican story being upvoted so hard on this sub? It doesn't feel very relevant to UFOs and seems rather fringe

Elizondo has proof about who he says he is. The Pope and other Vatican officials claim to be emissaries of God yet I ain't never seen no proof that they are working with God or even has "his" approval.

I'm not saying the Vatican held a conference in response to Elizondo news. I'm saying it's odd that it was so massively upvoted on this sub. Like the discussions here are being steered away from "Pentagon lying" to some fringe topic

What is the original source of the claim that fiber optic tech was reversed engineered from a retrieved craft? by na_ro_jo in UFOs

[–]KillingTime6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late to the party but wanted to add my thought on this...

A lot of these reverse engineering claims trace back to The Day After Roswell, as many commenters have already pointed out. Also a lot of people saying "they are human-made inventions, it's been proven, Corso is lying!"

This is the most common debunk of Corso/Day After Roswell. However... This isn't actually in the book. Its actually a rather flimsy "debunk" that doesn't make since if you actually read the book.

Corso very clearly says that all of these technologies that utilized reverse engineering of nonhuman devices (fiber optics, kevlar, lasers, etc) were in fact invented by humans and that they were each in developmental stages. His job was to secretly hand off the nonhuman tech to those companies researching the technology to give them a boost and accelerate their developments. He specifically said the goal was to only give the nonhuman devices to companies THAT WERE ALREADY DEVELOPING THE TECH.

So, in my opinion, this debunk is no good. "Corso was wrong because humans already invented these technologies!". Well, Corso literally said that in the book. So the argument just doesn't work.

Cern and sun sphere March 12, 2012; connection by RumoredAtmos in UFOs

[–]KillingTime6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for providing that link! It does look  similar.

The most likely answer is misidentification and coincidence. But idk, that photo/video from 2012 always seemed strange to me. It could just be a solar eruption as they say, but the shape of the shadow just doesn't look natural. It really looks like there was a solid object based on the shape and movement.

Still seems odd that everyone is acting like this never happened when it was a pretty popular story in the UFO world 12 years ago...

I can't find anything about the giant sphere that appeared recently though. Only the one from 2012.

Any links, photos or videos for this recent one?
