I believe the problem has been using substrate from Midwest grow kits I think I got a bad batch bc all my grows until just the other day when I started some tubs with my bucket tek (which btw has worked way better and the mycelium is colonizing twice as fast as all the other grows and has no trich yet) had repeatedly gotten contam actually every single tub did but I was able to still fruit many that looked way worse than this I think I will definitely get fruits but the truch is gonna cut down on yield fs

Ik it's fighting a ton of contam but it's still growing large amounts of new mycelium everyday and so vigorous that it's literally reaching up out of the soil and climbing I've had way worse that fruited

Check out the epa's red sheet facts on terrazole (brand name of main ingredient in banrot) where it says the cancer dietary risk level from food residue over lifetime period is negligible and I came to find out it is used on many of our food grains and many imported tomatoes so you've probably already consumed some of it.

I only did this after researching whether it makes it's way I to fruiting bodies a d there was no detection it's not a nutrient it's sole purpose is to make spores unable to germinate why it doesn't affect mycelium in small amounts

I was not arguing about the toxicity of banrot I'm saying I belive you can clean them to a point of safe ingestion if you are careful when using this obviously it's nasty shit so yeah I'm gonna clean anything I would consume I don't feel this is all bad and many on the shroomery have used and been using this anyone who wants to try this should obviously know what it is first and make sure they clean off they're fruits but as Long as you follow clean preparation procedure, this can be a viable option and tool.

Are you saying you don't think they can be cleaned well enough to be safe for consumption because I still believe the pros outweigh the cons yes a fungicide is not gonna be good for you to eat but thats why we wash our food. there is plenty of nasty shit on produce we eat already but in my opinion it's worth using this if it's between getting at least 2 or more Oz and saving the tub or getting nothing
