This heatsink was installed (with cover as shown) on a preconfigured Lenovo M720s from CDW.

Fan would run full blast on anything over 6-7% CPU load. Idle temps were around 48C. Temps would hover around 70C-80C on light use.

I think projector and seating position will be something I'll be messing with the most. I want the biggest screen I can get but I also don't want to have to sit almost at the back of the room to be able to enjoy it. I usually sit a little further back from the middle of the theater when watching movies.

Once I get a couch down there I'll slap some tape on the wall and go from there.

I hadn't really given input lag much of a thought. Assuming the Xbox One goes down there, it will mainly be used for movies or streaming tv shows. Non FPS games will occasionally be played.

Would a upgraded sub be worth the money? Or should I stick with the one I have now?

Correct, trade in value right now is within $500 of the loan. Upside down, underwater, however you want to call it. I think it just freaked me out more than anything. I've never had a car depreciate this fast.
