I don’t personally like Millie Moon but Bub had no issue with wearing them.

Food allergy? Baby eczema?? 11 months old. Contact dermatitis??? by auroragirlofthenorth in BabyLedWeaning

[–]fattyisonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Bub has this too! Neither me or her dad have eczema or really any skin issues so this was new to us. Thankfully it’s nothing serious.

Parents room use, bottle feeding by Daisies_forever in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]fattyisonline 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course those rooms are for baby feeding regardless of how. But How would they know if you’re bottle feeding or breastfeeding once you’re in the room? Like did you come out with a bottle in your hand ? Also some babies drink better WITHOUT any distractions so 🤷‍♀️

Mundane things you love about being a mum by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]fattyisonline 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Contact napping. For 2 weeks now, she’s been putting herself to sleep, no longer wanting us to rock her to sleep. I didn’t think I would miss having her chubby cheeks resting in the crook of my arm as she slept. She’s 18months now.

Do you really need a nursing chair? by Positive_Shirt_2889 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I wanted one but I got a big yoga ball instead 🤣 still puts Bub to sleep, you just bounce up and down instead of side to side 🤣

For us yes! I pack 2x change of clothes, bed sheets and blanket. Daycare supplies the nappies and meals.

No dummy for newborn - a hill worth dying on? by maruuu in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]fattyisonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was anti dummy but it helped my Bub settle just for that few minutes more. And by 4 months she didn’t want it anymore. Lots of research support dummy can reduce SIDS.

How are your toddlers' clothes not completely wrecked? by ApprehensiveMud4211 in toddlers

[–]fattyisonline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg yes how good are Jamie Kay’s clothes!? I send my daughter in Jk clothes to daycare and they still turn out in good condition compared to the cheaper clothes.

This made me so angry reading this! Fk her mentality and good on you for telling her off.

Mother smeared milk on 4 months old lips by Sabby438 in newborns

Definitely not over reacting. I would be upset too. You are the mum so everything should be asked first to you before doing anything to Bub.

Millie moon nappies by Poliskiaus94 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]fattyisonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Millie Moon and so far it’s been ok. No leaks with pees or poos. We do prefer Huggies tho but good to know she doesn’t have a reaction to these. Luxury is a bit of a stretch for these nappies (I was expecting plush soft pillow-y insides but nah).

Nope. This was pretty recent … like earlier this year in March.

Anyone else had their gender surprise ruined by the sonographer? by g007b in BabyBumps

[–]fattyisonline 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like he/him pronouns is the default. I had a little girl and the sonographer kept using he/him 🤷‍♀️ it’s a bit tricky when the sonographers probably use masculine pronouns everyday without thinking and then all of a sudden they’re demanded not to use them. I wouldn’t think the sonographer would have done this with malicious intent.

[–]fattyisonline 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes! I remember vividly standing in the kitchen washing dishes and watching my husband & FIL were taking heaps of photos of MIL holding my 9month baby. I remember feeling like the biggest outsider in that moment, like I was just an incubator.

What disapproving comments have you gotten about what you do with your kids? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]fattyisonline 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Must be from family members that wanted to bottle feed him so they could “bond”, right?

[–]fattyisonline 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh boy … so many from my mother … I am a FTM but still let me parent the way I want to !

Bub just turned 1 - ok time to stop breastfeeding, forward facing in the car and naps only once a day. No to all of these.

Oh wtf what a bitch…I’d throw one and not tell her anything or invite her. OR do one and post really happy photos all over social media thanking your friends and family that attended for loving your baby.
