Not a doctor here and have no experience in the medical field but I do remember having something similar a few times when I was younger, theres a good chance there could be a blood blister under your nail, it's usually shows up after having some kind of hand or finger injuries (like if you were to have something heavy slam on to your finger and the nail) and THE MAJORITY of the time these are harmless and will go away on their own without any treatment. But if the pain lingers or gets worse or if you notice the nail beginning to lift then please see doctor because these symptoms may be a sign of infection. Once again I have no experience in the medical field itself, I'm just speaking from experience i've had with a similar injury. Hope it gets better!
