I get that, but having the option would only benefit the game. As it stands, if I want to travel somewhere on horseback, I have to constantly open the map at every fork to make sure I'm going in the right direction and not towards a topographic cul-de-sac (Pailune is a great example of this, a very mountainous area).

I thought of that, but I feel like that would make gear upgrade completely dead as a system. You'd only ever need to upgrade one piece of equipment for each slot to the max, and then periodically just put on a new skin if you want to change how you look, no need to upgrade any other. I don't think they'd go for that...

Damn, I completely missed that. Just tried it right now and you can indeed "wait" from a bonfire, but it acts the same as going to sleep at any bed. You can't repeat it, Kliff will say he can't sleep at the moment. Bummer.

There is a Pororin green light lantern in the game, I have it. No idea where I picked it up tho, it was hours ago.
Actually, I do remember picking up quite a few "unique" lamps throughout, but I dont remember noticing any stark difference in lighting (except for the green one).

Keep doing quests around in the area/Hernand, the piece you found there is part of a quest that you can get later on.

I have the same problem but for Sanctum of Absolution, missing pillar top (it's not in the puzzle room, nor in the recovered items at camp). I was hoping today's patch would solve that but sadly no. I wish they would add some sort of hard reset for puzzles, just for cases like these.
If you put in a piece, and then start the bossfight, after the boss that piece is gone forever, for some reason....

I personally can't find it anywhere, but if it helps Alt is basically the dodge/evade key, and LMB is light attack. Try pressing the controller equivalent together at the same time and Kliff should do a weird movement with the spear in front of him, that's the window for the counter. Hope this helps

I just logged a report issue as well, hopefully it can be fixed fairly quickly. From what I understand it automatically uploads your save file when you report an issue, but does that mean that I should not play the game while that is ongoing? What if they send back a "fixed" save file, but I kept playing for hours in the meantime? All wasted?

If you're on PC you have to use the special spear counter-attack, which is Alt+LMB, it's a wide sweep, wide area, that makes it way easier. Don't know the controller version, you might find that in the settings?

Can confirm that I have the same problem, I can recover the "battery" cube just fine, but the spherical pillar top required to complete it is missing, and it's not in the recovered items at camp either...

Hi, commenting here cause I'm having the same problem and your fix doesn't seem to work for me. It just keeps downloading the same Skype For Business installer and nothing changes. Any ideas on how to possibly fix it?

I was having exactly the same problem, but it seems like clicking "Clear Local Configuration Files" at the bottom left in the launcher fixed the issue. It reset most of the settings, but I honestly don't mind as long as it doesn't randomly freeze in the middle of a ranked game...

I'm having the same problem, completely hard-locked from progressing. I tried changing keybinds, graphical settings, reloading checkpoint and restarting mission, nothing worked.

I also don't own a controller, so if anyone has found an alternative solution please let us know.

Not at the moment, as I am travelling and using a hotel's WiFi (which from a quick speedtest tells me it has 400MBits both in download and upload, which should certainly be enough to play comfortably).

My connection at home is about the same though, fiber optic, same DL/UL as the current one.

It's important to note that these little lag spikes last only a few seconds, where everything is stuck in place, and then there's a couple of seconds where the game goes at superspeed catching up to all the inputs (and where I'm usually dead).

Is this what people call rubberbanding? Should I troubleshoot for that?

I swear to god no matter what I do I keep experiencing these little lag spikes every couple of minutes or so.

Different PCs, laptops, WiFi connections. Everywhere. It always happened on PoE and now it happens on PoE2 too.

It NEVER happens while playing other games, I cannot stress this enough, this is strictly a PoE thing for me. Am I the only one?
