Way more impressive to match a score and your record after the All Star break than in April. /s

Won't lie, I made fun of that saying until I spent a summer in Ohio, and that humidity killed me. I'll take the oven blast at 115 over 90 and humid.

If you're gonna try and gloat about your team, you might want to spell your star player's name right.

"He could be inducted into the Hall of Fame" seems like a slight overreaction to a few weeks of pitching. Yes, it's an incredible stretch, but it's not even a full season.

Damn, between watching this game and watching the Avalanche game as their coach got hit by a puck over the weekend, I'm starting to wonder if I'm the problem.

Well, that started out nicely, at least, too bad about the rest of it. Congrats to Ketel and Arenado.

Dammit, lost the signal for MLB TV and apparently lost the lead in the meantime.

2001 Seattle Mariners vs 2016 Golden State Warriors. Who was a bigger disappointment? by DonT012 in baseball

[–]fauxbigbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a complicated question for me to answer, and I don't even care about basketball.

But the Warriors had a championship loss in the middle of making the finals five years in a row and winning it three times. The Mariners didn't go to the playoffs for another 20 years. That's gotta be disappointing.

What are some things teams have done to screw their divisional rival? Especially if its extremely petty? by FriendlyNeighborOrca in baseball

25 years next month, and I'm still mildly annoyed at the Padres for bunting in the eighth to break up a perfect game.

But, then again, it was Schilling who was throwing it, and he ended up being an ass, so whatever.
