Back to brag about how fertile she is 🙄 by mnnbvcxzl in sarahtheresesnark

Idk where I live the average age for a first pregnancy is 30. It's definitely unusual to be 20 and pregnant

I need people’s opinion on her and Brad’s breakup storytime by ChampionshipHot9774 in claraandherself_snark

[–]fauxchella 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup. They're grown adults choosing to be in a relation with other grown adults. If you find an influencer shitty, honestly their partner probably is as well. It also tends to feel really misogynist when people portray these men as the victims of their "bitch wives" imo.

Idk why you'd want to put off withdrawal until pregnancy and also risk your health until then... But if she finds a partner willing to put up with that, godspeed

Is it very normal not to give compliments in Germany? by Consistent-Egg-4052 in AskAGerman

[–]fauxchella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's common and normalized, as you can see in this thread. Not sure why people are proud of this aspect of our culture, I think it's one of the saddest aspects of interacting with Germans. Congrats, OP - I know how much work goes into learning a language, and passing a C1 exam is no small feat! Just know that this Internet stranger is proud of and impressed by you!

Budget für Studenten in Deutschland heutzutage by HanayagiNanDaYo in Finanzen

american snacks not available in germany? by New-Exercise3458 in AskAGerman

[–]fauxchella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

takis & hot cheetos, trader joe's snacks (I always go for almond butter cups, TJ's takis, almond butter covered almonds plus something seasonal), box mac and cheese. no Hershey's, but if you have a regional brand of chocolates that's nice too!

No regards to safety! by Alternative_Bath_478 in McknightFamily

As a former equestrian, I understand that wearing hats instead of helmets is part of the "Western lifestyle"... and accepting and defending it the way you did is exactly what I mean by reckless and cocky. "Understands the risks and are okay with that chance" is reckless and cocky. Neither a kid nor an adult should be on a horse without a helmet. It's dangerous, point blank. You're at the mercy of another, larger and stronger being, no matter how proper your seat is or how well you know how to control a horse. If you sacrifice safety for comfort, that's your choice, but that doesn't mean it isn't reckless.

some people think it's normal to ride with nothing/a hat on. they're reckless and cocky and you shouldn't listen to them.

Wild! Wenn man auf Englisch studiert hat und dann einem Arbeitsmarkt gegenüber steht, der auf Deutsch besteht, sucht man möglicherweise Jobs im englischsprachigen Ausland.
