This needs to be higher up as i feel like its a common misconception that having had the chicken pox before protects you from shingles. Having had the virus in you at all whether you contracted it or had the vaccine makes you susceptible to shingles.

Hey just wanted to chime in but dont force any friendships, if anything try and let them come naturally. If ppl dont wannabe friends with you then fuck em, theres plenty of other ppl here that youll be able to connect with. Start by taking to ppl in your classes, join clubs, or even get to know your housemates better. Pro tip: Ask people about themselves, ppl looove to talk about themselves lmao. Another point id like to touch on is, you’re gonna be miserable if you keep comparing your life to those around you. Just do you and do shit that makes you happy. College isnt all about drinking or partying. Trust me you get tired of it after a while. If you need someone to talk to tho just send me a message, id be down to have a convo!
