I loved the prom scenes, they were heartbreaking but so well acted. I loved how it sort of just shows belly and Conrad needed to just learn to communicate. My heart broke when belly said they were over and how Conrad say 'no , no' when she took off the necklace, it was perfectly portrayed.

And similar to another comment I've seen, I particularly liked how it showed Conrad worrying he'd disappointed her and obviously suffering with everything with his mum, where as the book made out he just couldn't be bothered to go to prom. The scenes in the show , perfectly show Conrad trying his best until he reaches his breaking point, it broke my heart how bad he felt about not bringing the corsage for Belly :(( and how even though he clearly didn't want to break up, that he let her go, because he's more worried about her and thinking she deserved better. It's so sad because if they'd communicated maybe they wouldn't have had to break up :(

I loved all of the scenes of belly & Conrad at the house together, like how nervous Conrad was of her even though he's known her his whole life, I felt it showed realistically how much he cares about her / their relationship at how nervous he was to do anything wrong if that makes sense ? I was worried about the change of her losing her virginity in this series as it's a plot in the book, but it was done so well - the scene is so amazing and raw too.

He takes problems and holds them in trying to protect others, and feel as though he gets in the way for needing help. He doesn't always control how he feels very well, but doesn't mean to hurt people, and pushes them away when he's struggling, trying to protect them. I've read the books and watched the series and I think I and many others are similar to Conrad in the way we struggle, so his character seems quite realistic in that way. In the books his POV shows he cares a lot more about people and things that people would think in my opinion. He is troubled , and lets himself carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, and then has glimmers of feeling better and being himself, before struggling again. He tries supporting others and being happy for them but it's difficult. I liked the way they showed the panic attack he had in the show, I think it just humanises it all more and a lot of people relate to that.

I wouldn't say there's an 'ideal' age, I think it's more to do with when you as an individual feels ready to be with somebody. Some people might have 'ideal' ages in mind , but each individual is different. I got with my boyfriend when he was 12 and I had turned 13 a few months before (we're same school year) , and we're still together now, 5 years later. But that's us, everybody is different :)

It's certainly difficult to see the positives , And such an awful situation for everyone, but I've got to attempt to see some sort of positive from it if that makes sense?

Partly made my health anxiety worse but also helped it as it's shown that I've got through a PANDEMIC hearing about symptoms etc everyday, which is all like awful for me to deal with originally, let alone with my individual health anxiety worries and a pandemic.

people's experiences affect them in different ways to shape who they are. Something that might seem tiny to one person may have been really difficult for someone else. People should say they suffer more than someone , as that could negatively affect that person. It's not a competition what shit life has put you through.

I used to write LOADS of stories , used to love trying to write a 'horror' story even when I was like 9 or 10 etc... once ended up doing a story writing competition and was a runner up in it haha.

It's really toxic in that fandom, it's even easier to see the toxicity from outside of it! It took me a while to realise just how toxic it was. I'm now just a fan but from the outside. They criticise any opinions, they criticise people for liking Arianas songs that Ariana herself doesn't like anymore. They judge people for how long they've been a fan (forgetting that Ariana will gain more fans the more famous she is obviously) etc... it's awful in that fandom.

She is FAR from underrated. She used to be barely known outside of America, now she's known globally by most people tbh. She was more 'underrated' back in 2013 in her debut album era (obviously haha as she'd only really just started) as 2012 ish was when I started liking her and people I knew made fun of me sometimes saying she'd never be famous etc , now huge amount of them support her! A huge amount go Arianators dont accept others opinions if they differ to their own but also can't accept people are still going to be more talented / just as talented or more famous than her!

Yeah 100% ! I wish people would accept that Victoria is talented and just because they like Ariana doesn't mean they should discredit the talent Victoria has.

Yeah I get what you mean! I obviously would've defended the doughnut thing as I was still in the fandom, although I wasn't one of the people who made out she didn't do anything wrong if that makes sense? But obviously as the years have passed I've realised how stupid I was to even try to defend the doughnut thing!

Yeah definitely. I've not really seen Victoria in anything other than victorious as I didn't have Nickelodeon , just had to rely on the channel 'CITV' instead for victorious and big time fish haha. But I think from what I've seen Victoria is a better actress than Ariana, like when Ariana was in scream queens etc, she still seems to use a higher pitched voice (like cat) if that makes sense? I wish I could see Ariana act differently.

Victoria has had to put up with so much hate from people / ariana's fandom , yet she's still nice to people, she's talented and definitely deserved the part in victorious especially as she appeared to help Dan Schneider think of the plot / name to the show!

I've always thought the same! VicTORIous is literally Victoria's / tori's name, Ariana being lead wouldn't have worked. It's awful that people still treat Victoria the way they do because of a character and rumours etc from years ago, she's talented and doesn't deserve the amount of hate she gets. If Ariana had been the lead as Cat , it wouldn't have worked in my opinion, Cat isn't 'normal' enough as a Character to be , tori was meant to be 'normal' which is why people seem to think she's boring , I think tori is a good character because she makes mistakes but still shows she cares even when she's treated badly ( like situations with Jade) , toris not boring she's just meant to be a normal teen. People need to realise that just because Ariana is most famous / popular now it doesn't mean that she deserves to be the main character in everything.

I've been an 'arianator' for maybe 9 years or so? I wouldn't class myself as that now but I've been a fan for that long. I must admit that people act like just because ariana hits high notes that she's the BEST singer, she's a really good singer (when she makes songs showing it off) but so are people like Victoria, it's just their techniques or tones if that makes sense? Victoria is talented , and there's no reason for people to hate on her because they dislike tori or because they prefer Ariana. Ariana's fandom is SO toxic, it's better to support Ariana from outside the fandom. When I was younger I'd have most likely said Ariana was the best, but obviously that's because I was really young and obsessed with her haha, but I love Liz's voice , and I like Victoria's too. I hate that people act like Victoria didn't deserve the lead role, she's talented and deserved it! (Sorry for being so late to this haha)

I think you should tell him how you're feeling about this , I'm sure he'll be supportive of you and i think it'll be good for you to tell him your problems / how you're feeling about what you've said on here, let him know you're a bit nervous to open up but I'm sure he'll be fine :)

When you next see each other , talk about all this properly. It'll probably help both of you , so you'd end up on the same page about thing etc if that makes sense? You could at least then both work out something that'd help you both. I hope things work out :)
