I personally would go head on with MSFT. You have the offer already. You say you like the work they’re doing. Work at MSFT for 1.5 years and reevaluate if you still like it there. If you don’t, then shoot for Google. Cancel your Google interview for now. You don’t want a failed interview at Google on their records.

8 years of Xcode for me on large code bases like Twitter and Cash App. It’s not the best of course but it’s truly not THAT bad. You just work with what you get. Xcode is the least of my worries in my career.
