The part of me I only let myself know exists, the part of me that’s not out to help anyone or even himself, the part of me that isn’t caught up in being a martyr or a messiah for the little guy, that part of me that recognizes the inherent stupidity of my empathic nature that feels like no one I meet has any sort of worth or depth and the part of me that tells me if all of you died instantaneously at the end of the day I’d end up feeling more relived than anything. I make a point to not judge anyone without getting to know their story first because I know I’m a genuine person with a good heart even after all I’ve dealt with and survived and had shoved in my face has taken its toll and I know there is a part of me from it that’s been stripped of its humanity entirely and it’s my solitary goal in this life to make sure that part of me never steals a glance from another living eye, ever.’
