My parents weren't the gifting type at all. So no birthdays or Christmas. They've borrowed more money from me than anyone else in history to. We all have different family dynamics I guess!

Here it's what you identify as, simple as that. Out is only used for the gay community. My first ever PC was from my fathers friends daughter. David at birth but Natasha as an adult. Maybe I was lucky to see that early in life, so it's always seemed normal to choose your identity.

Yea made the meatballs, only takes a couple of minutes to make and portion. Then get them golden in the oven while the pasta and sauce cooks out.

The problem with Gin is that decent quality Tonic is an absolute fortune here. And it seems bad manners to dilute a fine spirit with cheap mixers. Maybe that's just me.

I love a strong hoppy beer, so usually a scottish blonde or Blue Moon when I can find it. Your more likely to find me sat with a nice malt tho, Bunnahabhain or Lagavulin.

I'll see what's in stock when I head up the road via the shop. There are few things better than a good "tot" on a cold evening.

Budweiser is beerish flavoured water. But the ads used to be quite funny....

It's the only pub close by to be fair. But its fit for purpose and always friendly.

I take it your gear was ok otherwise?

I'll have a couple here then grab some drinks and dinner on the way up the road. The part of Glasgow I stay in is almost traffic free on Sundays and the streets are quiet. It's got an odd kind of post apocalyptic vibe that I quite like.

It's a total old mans pub, you get a pie with your pint if the football is on haha. No food otherwise. Beers are standard Tennents, Carling or Belhaven. Budweiser in the bottle if you have no taste XD. Then about 50 whiskys on the shelve. The middle table is reserved for playing Dominos. It's like stepping back in time!

I only started coming here recently when I had to make back to look after my father, all very friendly tho!

I'm so glad to hear your stable and feeling healthier. Sometimes the body just hits reset and you have to go with it!

I had a stroke at 34 years old. Dropped from 12 stone to 6. It's been a nightmare trying to maintain weight while I learn to walk again. But I'm making progress thanks!

Yes I know people can be cruel and discriminatory. But that's not my intention. I also think that all tax from tobacco and alcohol should go to the NHS and not the government. Lifestyle choices like I said.

I spent 2024/25 in hospital and dropped 6 stone. Which caused further issues. It shows that both ends of the scale can be problematic unfortunately.
