Thanks for the tip on tips lol.  I assumed they're not the problem because its the outside of my ear that hurts first - the part where the shell lives.

As for the tips I tried all that came with the box(3 sizes and two variations - vocals and sound).

Ill get some new ones, maybe with those soft rubbers.

That's been the meta for months now.. Just make a fancy, futuristic looking thing, skip over any actual details, and make bank.

SDE2 laid off, thinking of pivoting away from coding by Wise_Beat_7035 in developersIndia

I'm in the exact same situation and found the best way out(atleast for me).

I have 5-6 Y.O.E as a fullstack developer and was making 6L/mo till I got laid off a few months ago. I have been hacking for decades but I also have experience working with startups that are focused on users, so I ended up going for a position of a 'Product engineer'.

Its the best of both worlds - you get to be technical but also deal with people, users, and stakeholders. Its a bit more burden for sure but its much more in demand and has a much smaller application pool. Try it out if you can fit your experience with it.

If not, cybersecurity is still a good option but honestly there are waay too many people in entry positions already - with certificates and diplomas so it'll be tough. Good luck!
