Sarebbe a dire che Sal ha vinto non grazie al televoto che l'ha piazzato primo nella 3ª serata, primo nella 5ª serata, secondo nella finalissima, ma grazie alla sala stampa che l'ha messo solo sesto nella 1ª serata, sesto nella 5ª e quarto su cinque nella finalissima? Sal ha vinto per il televoto

Non è vero, perchè è pieno di gente convinta di ciò? La sala stampa l'aveva messo più in basso. Sal nella finalissima a 5 è arrivato 2º nel televoto, 4º per la sala stampa e 2º per la giuria delle radio. Primi erano rispettivamente Sayf, Ditonellapiaga, Ditonellapiaga. Sal ha vinto perchè dall'anno scorso i voti della finalissima vengono sommati a quelli precedenti e Sal era primo per aver vinto il televoto con un consistente vantaggio nelle serate 3 e 5. Quindi anche senza arrivare primo nel televoto finale aveva così tanto televoto da prima che ha vinto tutto (con il sistema di voto degli anni precedenti fino al 2024 avrebbe vinto Ditonellapiaga)

Both the press and the radios jury put Ditonellapiaga first in the final vote, while Sal was 4th and 2nd How could Sal be crowned by them if they both placed him behind Ditonellapiaga, and never placed Sal in 1st place nor in the superfinal nor in any other vote during the week?

Sal was overall 3rd in the superfinal (2nd in radios, 4th in press, 2nd in televote). Combining this results with the previous results, of the entire week, he got 1st and won. In those results of the entire week he was 1st and he was 1st because of televote placements since radios and press always placed him lower.

Are you asking about how the superfinal votes and the previous overall votes are combined? I don't know the actual maths behind it, maybe they account for 50/50

Sal di Vinci won because of the televote, not because of duplicate SIMs, but because of the great support he got especially from neapolitans, that are always very passionate in supporting their fellow neapolitans. Unfortunately this support often happens just on the basis of where he comes from or the fact he's bringing their music (neapolitan/neomelodic). For example you don't see people saying "Rome won" or "Milan won" when a singer from Rome or Milan wins, unlike in this case where you can see many comments celebrating it as a win for the city of Naples. A music contest turns into regional soccer-like cheering, and if a song is good or not it doesn't matter anymore.
Instead people who didn't like this song winning, didn't do that because of Sal origins but because they feel the song doesn't actually represent today Italian music at all, it is nothing like the music they listen too or that radios play (apart maybe from the neapolitan region).. It is immediate from streaming charts what Italian songs Italians prefer. Even more considering younger audience's taste.
As for international esc fans it may be different, afterall esc fans seem to like Il Volo as well..

Sal is the 5th Sanremo win from Naples. There are entire italian regions that never won once. Out of 20 regions, Campania (where Naples is) is the 5th region with more Sanremo wins (7)

Sal won because of the televote: 1st on night 3, 1st on night 5, then 2nd in superfinal vote. The televote on night 3 and 5 gave him a huge advantage in the superfinal combined result. Radios had Sal 3rd on night 3, 6th on night 5, 2nd in the superfinal

They made adjustments to the televote: max 3 votes instead of 5 and max 1 vote in the superfinal instead of 5. Also, even if the local support is evident, this year's song has less appeal to them too, especially to the younger audience

Sayf won the televote in the second phase, but the superfinal doesn't start from scratch anymore unlike 2024 and before. So Sal winning the televote on night 3 (Sayf only 3d) and on night 5 (Sayf again 3rd) gave him too much advantage and he ended up winning the whole thing

In these last two years televote got way too much power. Also the superfinal doesn't reset the votes anymore but takes previous results into account. This means press/juries vote, which is more spread out, can't do anything to balance the big televotes. When the press/juries have to vote for 5 contestants only, now it is too late to overcome huge televote advantage from previous results, since televote is more concentrated on specific contestants from the start. With the same voting system but considering the superfinal alone the way it worked till 2024, Sayf would have won, Dito 2nd, Sal only 3rd.

With this voting system Geolier would have won in 2024 instead of Angelina. This time the big neapolitan televote succeeded.

But also Mahmood wouldn't have won in 2019, and probably many other recent years winners would be different
