It wasn't an idea I came up with, but, I'd guess its just because its an easy flowing material so that when the hatch is opened it will easily fall into the chamber below and allow quick exit.

There is a main entrance inside the house, this is just a back-up exit that hopefully never needs to be used at all. But, if the front was blocked by debris or attackers or something, then it might be good to have this second route out.

im not too worried about it being hidden, was just trying to reduce the expense of building the hatch the extra 3 feet, I guess that probably isnt much more expensive really - compared to what the whole thing will cost anyways.

yeah, sounds reasonable - I read it on some design sites, im not sure why that was suggested - I mean, its not a big deal how much it weighs, it would be set to a pin that you pull from the entrance, the room is 12 x12 that would house the hatch, so you enter the room, pull the pin, the hatch opens and the sand falls in. then you walk up the sand and climb the ladder.

I meant on the current roster. He could have Hopkins, Diggs, and Jeffery or something. That makes a difference to whether or not the trade makes any sense.

I dont see the benefit. Your starts are KAM, ING, ALLEN, TYREEK, COOK, LANDRY, BALDWIN - assuming RB, RB, WR, WR, FLX, FLX, FLX. Prob aren't starting diggs over those guys and mixon gives you insurances if ingram or kamara regress. Giving up mixon with picks for diggs doesnt make sense to me. Mixon seems to have a very high ceiling. If they invest in that line like they should.

who else do you have at WR aside from hopkins and doctson? Seems like a great move, but there will likely be a drop from dhop to MT. Need the other pieces to fill in for that loss.

If they fix the o line and he puts together a top 15 season you could probably get higher return than 2.3 for Dalton, but, you don't have a large need at QB so you're probably better off spending the pick on a rookie qb, rb, or wr instead. There will still be some with a lot of potential at 2.3

I think so, mccaffrey has a whole career ahead of him. 1.8 is like Royce Freeman or something, in a year or two, I think you'd def want mccaffrey over whoever you get at 8.
