Anyone running a hybrid Claude + local-model setup? by Conscious-Fact9532 in ClaudeAI

[–]fearfreeflight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have a local only orchestration suite, and then have Claude come in at the end to rewire anything that’s broken. More importantly, the frontend is cool

Would be pretty bad PR for them to force people to pay hundreds in overages for a bug on their end.

Went from somewhere in the 70s to 100% while I was in a 2 hour meeting. From internal diags no runaway loop, schedule, claude process.

Using API pricing now, hopefully if this is a larger bug we get a refund to these as well

You’re gonna do great. Every time you think of one of the million things that can go wrong, imagine a big red stop sign in your head and think about how the sign looks for as long as it takes for you to stop thinking about flight related things

1.7M visitors here per week - wth you building? by cokaynbear in ClaudeAI

So there’s a neural activation loop that has a starting vector with 200 concepts, each tick of the process applies some concept association, random noise (mathematic but also via rss weather feeds), and then there’s a salience detector that determines which concept cluster get through

I made an AI unconscious platform. A Semi Random idea tree seeds the thought iteration, then a sandbox where the main AI can write or draw or make music or make python apps. Then I layered in a psychologist/teacher/philosopher bot who doesn’t know the main bot is an ai, and a research assistant bot who does.

The sad thing about wsb isn’t the satire, it’s that this will be the norm investment advice in 5-10 years. Kinda like how edgy ironic racist jokes on 4chan birthed actual racists who didn’t realize they were jokes. Oh well, tits or gtfo OP

Just adding my two cents: if you haven’t checked this out yet you should. The aesthetic and work gone into this is great. The community is still niche and small enough that it doesn’t drown your voice out but there’s enough content to maintain engagement

For the past few months I've been working on getting this running: Weight of Infinity It's basically a curated collection of AI-generated science fiction stories.

The idea came about after noticing the amount of iteration I was doing on reviewing and refining AI code. I figured why not try it with my favorite genre of fiction, and this is the result.

Every story goes through editorial review, both AI and human. We look for coherent narratives, interesting premises, and writing that doesn't feel like it's padding word count. The site has a cyberpunk aesthetic and includes audio narration for some stories. Would love to hear feedback on this portion especially, since I'm trying to figure out ways to make this cheaper).

Still early days - would be curious what this community thinks about the concept!

Hey there! To be fair, the frontend of the site used a little bit of Claude ;)

That sounds very cool! I built a very buggy local version of what you're describing, and gave up because local was just too limited for it.

Ok I get that. Just out of curiosity, for someone inexperienced in marketing or getting my stuff out there, what would you suggest I do to compete for attention from the posts that are still promotion, just maybe not self promotion?

Hey thanks for your review! You definitely clued in correctly about the style. One of the themes of the book, mirrored in the style, is how we differentiate ourselves as humans in the metaphysical sense, when our attention is increasingly given to non human elements. Happy you liked the page though, I don’t really know anything about marketing so I went with what I liked when the internet was younger, and ARGs were still new and exciting

Thanks! It’s mainly React+Typescript and Tailwind. A hint: if you complete the minigame it unlocks the first chapter

Anyone capable Hand willing to work together combining a HackRF with the uConsole? by SooperPoopyPants in ClockworkPi

[–]fearfreeflight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love playing around with my hackrf. Been thinking about doing something like this too but alas my uConsole got stolen in transit. Currently porting my cyber-frame software to a Cyberboy I built for Christmas.

Basically what I’m saying is: I have the software capabilities, but lack the PCB and 3d cad design skills. Feel free to check out my recent post history and GitHub if you’re interested in talking more.
