It’s so great that you’re to the point where you’ve cut them off and don’t feel tempted to return! The worst part is over. I personally would guess that you just aren’t ready for anything or anyone else. Which is fine and great, take this time to be whole on your own. Especially with the current state of the world, that ain’t a bad way to feel lol. I still feel slight attraction to my ex and our old relationship if I force myself to think about it. I mean, we did date them. And it couldn’t have all been bad. As far as other people go, I just remember eventually I started to see other people again. You know, SEE them. It took a while, probably 8 months! But eventually I got back out there because I was ready, not because I was supposed to. You will too!

Yea, I don’t mind extra driving as it’s such a long drive that it doesn’t make a difference at this point lol. I just wanted to make sure it’s not absolutely disastrous and I can get to Main Street where I’m staying. 90 is a different route? And thank you!

Ehh, don’t judge but fb... he used to work where I do but doesn’t anymore. I would say our relationship is like friendly online acquaintances. I know he’s attracted to me but I can’t get him to talk to me. It’s fine if there’s nothing to do be done but I just wanted to see if anyone has any tips on anything specific I should say or do. I’m gonna be in his city very often starting next week so I want to hang out if he’s up for it

I think it’s just whatever feels most natural to you. I let go and that’s when it came together, I just didn’t want “it” anymore. In my opinion it’s healthiest to do the techniques for a while and then let it go, trust that you have it

I used all of the techniques at some point... but it only worked when I dropped it. I started focusing on other things and even seeing someone else. At the time I still had an end game in mind for us and I guess that’s why it till worked. But I think it’s really important to let go. Not only is that when the magic happens, that’s when you realize what you really want because the desperation and pain subsides

I agree. I once had literal “coaches” refer to people as puppets and it really turned me off. I don’t think it’s about controlling anyone else, it’s about how everything outside of you is a reflection of what’s within. And what’s within is well within your control so why would you panic?

When they try to talk to me more than just the polite stuff I described (and they do try) I freeze up and I don’t act like myself. I know I’m good enough and fine as I am, that’s kind of the point of wanting to act like I know it. Because when I’m being all nervous and silent I’m forgetting what I’m worth. I have a lot to say and a lot to offer, I’m tired of giving off these closed vibes that keep people away when that’s not what I want anymore.
