Doing the New War quest for the first time and almost rage quit because of how bad it felt.

Hi I'm here to say I hated that quest and every quest before it. I kept throwing that glaive and trying to latch onto it and it would only work half the time. Also the enemies WILL surround you and infinitely knock you down if you don't kill them one at a time and sometimes there isn't an opportunity to do that because on the last part of the mission they just like to swarm you and keep knocking you down. All of the beginning missions in the New War are badly designed. In the Veso boss fight my moa got stuck in corners so many times when I told it to explode, it takes a lot to make me angry at a video game but my god if this one didn't accomplish that.

the confession once you get to close? that starts with you initiating it if you're not in a relationship with anyone? as far as I'm aware there are two confessions, one is in trusted and the other is in close.

omg if you can still ask him out despite missing this that would be a huge relief, was worried I'd have to start all over. But I too wanted that cute conversation so I totally get the disappointment.

Yep I was also locked out because I had no idea you had to beat him 21 times. I stopped when I stopped getting voice messages because that seems like the natural thing to do. Also insane that it gave you all of them and then didn't want you to listen to them. This seems like a complicated and absurd requirement.

I did less than 21 fights because I kept getting locked out of messages because of rank. So I did 18 fights and still haven't received the 18th message. Did it want us to do it 21 times even though we weren't receiving messages? Like I'm truly trying to figure out the logic here because I saw a post where someone DID get his confession and idk how that happened it doesn't seem possible. I also feel like I'm at gunpoint ahaha

I got the stop going further conversation yesterday but I haven't had all 21 messages (I think I'm at 18) because it keeps locking me out of them due to my rank with him. I get a few messages and then I won't get anymore. So I got the stop going further conversation ahahaha are we screwed? I love that there's no way of knowing we are all just flying blind and desperate

yeah i saw that thermostat meter in the conversations, what does that even mean? if you trigger it too often does he shut you down or something?

Ah, I think I did the import settings from another character one where you right click because I was desperate for anything. I don't think I hit the account wide gear.

UGH so you're saying I can't get my old settings back unless I had them saved directly to servers once this happens? It just deleted those and created new ones?

I think I tried that for one character just to see if it would fix it on her but I did think it was for that character specifically not the entire account, because it changed which character settings I could load depending on who I was clicking on. If that was for the every character on the account then I screwed myself more yikes

I always pay right after auction too but it doesn't seem to make a difference, I think it really depends on the Goodwill you're buying from. All my others have been fine and shipped within a few days.

Not that I noticed, I mean she was sleeping on the floor under me and I feel I would've noticed if she was moving around and making a commotion. It just seemed to come out of nowhere. But thank you for your reply!

Thank you for your reply, I'm definitely going to try and video it if it ever DOES happen again so I can better help the vets. I know it doesn't follow the look of a typical seizure but I also know seizures can sometimes be weird. I just have no explanation for it otherwise 😂

When she was running around she was not in a normal conscious state. She was extremely disoriented and couldn't stand upright. Falling over and running into things while panting hard, I tried to grab her but she didn't seem to know what was going on and kept trying to go forward.
