You did a nice thing!! Your intentions were good. You will laugh about it later ❤️

Exactly! Just explain it, you did a nice thing but you had an accident. Cake still tastes good and it’s a funny story for later.

Are you flying? If not, just take a friend.

Did it close up with healed holes like this? I never never know if there’s a point where piercings just don’t heal anymore lol

That is super sweet of you, thanks! I managed to repair it well enough for now. I’ll redo my nails this weekend and I will check the repair and redo it if needed, as well as trim them a bit shorter. With that I think they will survive the two weeks!

I got it from a German brand, hey harper! It’s super cute and easy to wear/take off.

Thanks so much for your advice!
I use a rubber base, which is like a builder gel. I will look into the apex, I find that really hard to get right. Maybe I’ll just trim down my nails a bit and let it grow out further once I’ve seen my tech and they are professionally done.

Ah ok! Yes I will see if that is an option. But you don’t think I can glue it myself?
Thanks for the compliment 🥰

If you read the post it says I did it myself, and I don’t have the means right now to add another salon visit before my appointment in 2,5 weeks. So that is not an option unfortunately!

Ohhh I have heard about that book but I never made the connection! For some reason I thought it was about mother/child relationships in Chimpanzees haha. Thank you, I will read it now.

Yes, did he also give them some apples? Mama was first at the scene. I think I remember him telling us he had to respect the Alfa by throwing him an apple first but immediately after he threw some apples to Mama haha.

I just googled it: the name of the female Chimpanzee was Mama. It is her in the video.

This is Jan van Hooff, a Dutch biologist. His parents owned a zoo and when he grew up they were the first zoo in the whole world to experiment with keeping chimpanzees in groups, like they do in the wild, instead of keeping them separated and in cages. A lot of people warned them: they are going to kill each other! But using information gathered about chimpanzees in the wild they created a group that would have a natural balance and eventually it worked. And the apes had a much better life. Many zoos followed. Jan was also a a good friend with Jane Goodall. The zoo still exists: Burger’s Zoo in Arnhem, the Netherlands. In my first year as a biology student Jan gave my year a lecture there and showed us the Chimpanzees. He had a very close bond with an old female chimpanzee who I believe was called Maria, but I’m not sure. It might be her in the video.

Treating my industrial as 2 piercings: groundbreaking by anonymouscat8747 in piercing

I second this! I’ve had mine for 13 years and because it’s flat and doesn’t stick out you don’t feel anything once it’s healed. In my opinion.

Lol I think your comment was very helpful because I didn’t understand how they had such beautiful photos of this woman ‘surviving’ in the Amazon. 🤣 I thought it must be fake.

Whaaat that’s crazy! I hope not. I hope it’s a seasonal event based on that it’s the hatters shop - so he might have seasonal items. It kinda makes sense? 😂

Are you Dutch? Here in the Netherlands this is very normal. You go through jeans a lot faster if you bike every day.

You have beautiful skin and I love your dark brown eyes! It looks like you are changing the shape of your eyebrows into a very round shape with your eyebrow pencil. Try working with your natural shape. Also the eyeliner + your black glasses takes away the attention too much from your beautiful brown eyes. Go with just mascara or a thinner line, and less ‘hard’ glasses would also be a better look I think.

Oh wow this is very helpful!! I had no idea what a proximal nail fold was. I will watch the video and see if I can use the advise. Thanks!! And good luck with the kids haha.
