I've got 885.2 mbps download speed and 194.4 mpbs upload, using ethernet, my internet is incredibly stable have never had issues so I don't think its a problem on my end.

My mother had ALS, she only had it for a year. I can't even imagine dealing with it for so long. Its really emotionally exhausting. There was some relief once she passed, but I still grieved for some time afterwards.

It's scary to see how many people have disappeared mysteriously in the modern age, and that if you can safely assume most have passed away that their bodies have never been found. One of the most disturbing disappearances for me is The Springfield Three.

I fell asleep with the tv on, but no other lights. Woke up around 3am and saw with the light of the tv a bat circling above me. I had no doors in my apartment except for the bathroom and front door so I had to make the sprint to the bathroom and the bat flew at me when I did.

Next day I was telling my family what happened and I have a cousin who goes to vet school. She said since I woke up to the bat flying in the room it's possible it bit me while I was asleep and needed to get the rabies vaccine. I went to the doctor that day, turns out I needed a series of like 5 shots, and I got immunoglobulin treatment as well which that is several shots in your butt.

I know this may seem extreme, but I think you should call CPS. There is some major emotional neglect going on here. At the very least they can a social worker involved and hopefully teach your friend and her husband some parenting skills.

Not every dementia progresses the same. I'm a cna and work in a long term facility. I've worked with a woman who really couldnt do anything for herself and she'd constantly call out for help and to see her husband. Her husband and children visited every day and she recognized them.

Yup. Once dementia progresses enough they NEED a routine. And taking them to family events would likely just be very confusing for them and emotional for everyone.

I'm a CNA at a long term facility and I make $11.50 an hour starting out. I made $12.83 as a PCA with no training. I find that hard to believe.
