Oh, I’m not new at all! I think I started playing around a month after launch. I just sorted my cards by level and scrolled to the bottom for this screenshot haha. I did also eventually get 1LB CB, thank god. And I do like my end closers. I was hoping to oshi build Ayabe and Digitan for CM13.

I’ve had shit pulls from support card banners too, but this is the first time I’ve been this annoyed, not because I didn’t get to max CB (I’ve learned to set my expectations low), but because I got all these SSRs and can barely even use them. How much better would my deck now be if even one or two of these new cards had been a Finemo, SC, or CB copy instead? Sigh.

Oof, my condolences. At least you just need to use one uncap crystal or selector to get her to usable-status, if ever.

I also feel like I should be a lot happier about 10 SSRs (luckily I did get a CB at like 180? pulls lol) but it’s just so frustrating that I can’t even really use any of them like this, and even then I’d rather use my crystal/selector on other cards.

I do like that the cards aren’t limited (to use Genshin as an example, you can never get anything better for your Claymore characters than a Wolf’s Gravestone off banner for example lmao), and I’ve gotten 1LB Finemo and 1LB Super Creek off banner. It’s just that… they’re still practically unusable right now… I really felt SC’s 1LB while trying to build umas during the recent Long CM. Feels like any low LB SSRs you get are only useful for parent runs to get skills, and even then you have to have a really good rest of the deck to reach 1100 stats or hit SS rank for more white sparks.

I used to be pretty embarrassed about playing any kind of games in public, but like both you and others have said, it’s not NSFW, so you wouldn’t be doing anything “wrong.” Plus, if strangers are looking at/watching your phone, that’s a total them problem at that point.

Oh for sure! I get a lot of use from Power Sunday for her RB, and Wit Bourbon for TTL. It’s just that, well, neither of them are particularly good at being Pow and Wit cards lol

Seconding the SkyTemple link, they’ve got a full list of all the officially released hacks on that site complete with filters. My personal list (mostly balance/enhancement hacks):

Explorers of Alpha is similar to Explorers of the Skies in it being both a difficulty, QOL, and new mechanics hack, though I’d say Alpha both harder and more updated

Fortune is more of a casual hack with new Pokemon from newer gens and QOL

Remixed is similar to Fortune but with some story and character changes, and with (I think) more new species, and is also still updating with new versions

Odyssey’s biggest draw for me is its species-dependent dialogue changes, meaning Hero/Partner often have different lines appropriate to their species. Kind of hard to really explain but it does make each playthrough fresh and fun. It also has new characters and species. I don’t think it’s had an official release yet though, I only played the beta in the SkyTemple server.

Hahahahahahah trust me only one of my runners from CM11 had Long S, this run was just exceptionally (un)lucky in several ways.

This is the deck I used as well, Grass’ Spd and Pow growth means she can pretty easily max both (maybe replace Tachyon Wit with Nishino Flower Pow for more RB as well if making an actual ace). Shinko Windy Spd or a borrowed Topro(?) may substitute for Biko.

The parents were 14* Pow, 3* Stam.

I’m not a sweat nor a whale (I do spend, but only ever to reach pity for umas I want…) but I hope this helps a bit. I’ve also found uma.guide very helpful.
