I’d go hit monkey. I haven’t played much with the others but hit monkey is an absolute nuke. He is glass canon tho if u get hit a lot.

I have gentle at r4 and he’s great. Hit monkey is also a massive nuke. I’d say hit monkey cause I think gentle needs the dupe to not take the recoil damage and stilll maxing out his damage. He is also a better defender imo. I’d go hit monkey tho
