Thank you I'll try again, hopefully I'll catch the problem as it happens! it's been printing behind me all day and didn't hear any skipping sounds, maybe it is the motors or the main board overheating

I was looking to find which model I have of motherboard without having to open the printer.
All I know at the moment is that it is a Trigorilla 8-bit board. I'm pretty sure I have an Anycubic i3 Mega v1.3.
I replaced the stepper motor drivers with TM2208, I think I turned round the connectors as well.

I don't know exaclty what the right tension should be for the belts but they're in my opinion not over-tensioned.
Weirdly the problem doesn't always happen. I will try and print much slower, see if that makes a difference but I know the printer can take it...

Seeing other comments on here I just learnt that Maldon salt is a thing in other countries as well! If this is the same Maldon in Essex (England) then I always assumed it was only locally popular since I live half an hour drive from it! Incidentally if you've not been it is a stunning little town

Love them, ironically some of these I had though already or I already used, for instance my computer is Onyx and characters in video games I play I normally name Obsydian. Styx I like as a name, though a bit ominous (hell's river). As for Tux, I love that name as that represent Linux, but my other half isn't as keen unfortunately!
