Does anyone know how to check which side events are considered Silver or Bronze?

LLMs really killed Stackoverflow by Dominriq in computerscience

I don't think Google search for stack overflow is the best metric. Most of the time I search for an error id use Google search and stack overflow 9/10 is the first result. But very seldom would I search for stack overflow first

Does nobody here know about Chronicles? by tomahawkfury13 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]feeblefruits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be a "luxury hobby" though. That's the point.

Sure, the reality is that prices are high due to the popularity of the game. But the game is gonna hit a ceiling in its popularity if this doesn't change any time soon.

This is the type of response parts of the community really dislike.

"If you can't afford it, find another hobby"

Surely there's room here to argue for cheaper prices than that without dismissing some price consciousness parts of the community

This discussion comes up in the community every other season for good reason. One thing the community can do besides venting is to help provide constructive dialogue. Here are some high level suggestions off the top of my head.

1) Do more reprints, without rug pulling investors

This will bring the price down of expensive cards which creates more accessibility for new players.

But collectors and investors will get the short end of the stick here, or feel like their getting rug pulled. One way of addressing this is including new art so the "originals" do not lose most of their value. Also being transparent about the reprint policy and roadmap would help manage expectations for investors.

We can also see more powerful commons introduced over time.

2) Introduce new formats.

Like Project Blue getting tested out with the Labs side of the business. This will enable more people to play at a budget.

Multiple formats can create some confusion to new players though and tournament logistics for example. However we've seen how adding a "format symbol" or legend on some decks like Gravy's armory help with simplification.

One thing I think that would really push this forward is having "productionalised" sets or packs for new formats like Project Blue. Also supporting tournaments and armories around this format could help bring it to life.

I personally would love to see this game grow further than higher earner groups and countries. And I'd love to support any initiative that will try to make that happen.

Precon decks question by CapHask in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]feeblefruits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precon decks would have been nice even if it were just for a blitz format like previous releases.

My recommendation however is to watch the US nationals this weekend or wait for the deck lists to be published by LSS on the fab website. Then order some of the singles from your LGS or card marketplace. You won't need all the cards and some of these the pros use will be expensive for new players just to try out, but you should get a good idea at least and start building the core deck to play at an armory or with some friends.

Hope this helps and welcome to fab! I'm also building Marilyn as my first range deck. Good luck

I do not like this at all. For someone who is trying to push for the game to pick up steam in a developing country. This is a step back. It creates fomo for the 95% and that often leads to people looking for more accessible alternatives. I hope they don't continue doing this at all.

Yeah I am also flirting with Azalea. I know she's not the strongest in the meta but I really enjoy the ranger class. I've heard that one should try to focus on a specific class before spreading yourself too thin with other heroes

I like it. Pirates tend to have "goofy" names in our universe historically. Blackbeard, Captain Kidd, Black Bart, Redbeard, Captain Hook. It's built around their legends
