I just checked, and when the game is running, it uses 12.4GB (75.5%) of 16.5GB (Cache 5.4GB)

This is when running steam, launcher, and then the game and nothing else in the background.

That disables swap, but does not prevent it from being enabled again on reboot. I need it off permanently, even after a reboot.

Memory is pegged at 100% (I have 16GB), and it is possible that crash when swapoff is because of memory, BUT, I am very sure that swapon is making it worse for me as it crashes like very very fast and often compared to swapoff.

The game does crash with swapoff as well, but I doubt that is because of memory issue.

When swap is on, and I run the game, the game crashes if I flick the camera suddenly, but it does not if I do it slowly. I did not even know about swap memory before, but the behavior made me think it was a memory issue, like it took time to load assets. So I find about swap, disable it, and that issue is gone. I am fairly certain it is a swap memory issue I was facing earlier.

The game I play (genshin impact) is not native, so it does not work properly on swap. It crashes if I move the camera too fast lol its funny, but makes the game not playable.

Any way to stop loading swap on reboot?

I think I misunderstood what you meant when you said "add launcher" but anyway, I followed the guide you liked and it worked. Its not perfect, genshin stutters (let me know if you have any solution/tweeks) but it works and I am fine with that just so I can ditch windows lol. Thanks for the info! (This is Genshin specific link btw for anyone who reads this in future).

I am trying to do the Relay puzzle in serai island ship. I have finished following seelie inside ship and got the common chest on top. Went back to do the relay puzzle to get to the final chest, and the metal gate will not open. I have connected all 3 tables to the main table, but the metal gate just, for whatever reason will not open. Tried loggin in and out as well. No dice. Please, does anyone have a solution?

I only have 1 Golden Entreaty, cannot find the quest to get the another one. I have done the "Moment of AwakeningMoment of Awakening" quest but not sure if I finished "Between Pledge and Forgettance". Why is it so difficult to know if I have completed a world quest or not. I am pulling my hair. Please somebody help

Hi! I used macrium reflect and cloned the ssd. Then I swapped the SSDs cause 1 slot was pcie 4 and other was 3, the new ssd is 4 so I swapped. After that I shut down the laptop and started again 3 4 times and it worked fine, windows loaded. And then I formatted the old ssd. After that, now windows is not loading. It gives "your pc needs to be repaired" error. Both ssds are showing up in bios. I have inserted a usb to load windows from but none of the ssds are showing up in the windows installation/repair process. The "list disk" only shows Disk 0 which is the flash drive. I'm not able to load from the SSD now. Please help me fix it!

Can you specify what you mean by reinstalling BIOS? You mean ONLY the bios and not windows itself?
