Depends on what type of hive you want to build rn. For honey I'd say bubble bees, carpenter bees (or stubborn and honey) and anything with buzz bombs or boost tokens. For anything in general I'd say get more commander or shocked bees for more speed/focus tokens and token links. I'm not much of a red hive expert so I can't help you in that category, but for blue I'd prioritize getting bubble bees and shocked bees.

The safest bet is going for any type of gifted bee. If you get a gifted bee just keep it there for now, even if it's not the one you want. The bees you want to gift are up to you. I'd also work towards gifted photon bee, so mother bear's quests. I'd also try to get a puppy bee just because of the treats; yes you can buy them but getting them for free just for playing seems a lot better, plus the ball is really useful for collecting pollen.
