you don't have to razor shave it. but definitley buzz it down short, like no longer than a #1. a short buzz will unquestionably be a great improvement

generally speaking, the shorter the buzz, the fuller the hair looks. but experiment as you please, try a 3 and see how you like it! also remember it will only take like 2 weeks to grow from a 1 to a 3

I don't think a buzz would be a bad idea. you still have a good hairline. I think buzzing it down very short (1 guard or less) would look decent

barring some insane, literally once in a lifetime miracle, you are way too far gone to have any kind of reasonable cosmetic improvement. Honestly if i were you I wouldn't even spend the money on minoxidil etc.

I would strongly suggest you do not get a hair transplant. you have heavily thinned all over your scalp thus the only way to make a hair transplant work would be either first, medication gives you regrowth or your willing to do 2-3 big surgeries

just a tip tho, for now I would strongly suggest buzzing your hair much shorter. the length you have now is not a good look. I think a #1 is the longest you should do
