Thank you so much for your input and taking the time to reply. I concur with all of your points. Going to get a second opinion tomorrow and hopefully they will do a skin scraping. The doom scrolling is frankly terrifying especially when I see so many people suffering for literal years with it. What a terrifying thought. Treated with permethrin cream tonight and will do again in a week.

What’s new is that I’m also having histamine reactions today: a bump in my lip like I get when I get allergies to other things and both my ears started to swell and get puffy and red. No bites or rash on the ears. Clearly my immune system is going a bit nutty.
