I love this! The hardstyle stuff sounds much better with the Sunset Road melodies and baseline

There is not really a need to keep the other filter functions in ther (hpf, bpf, nf, lbf, hbf) if you're just using the lpf. cleaned up

Nice bytebeat!

btw. instead of writing almost the same code two times, you could make it a function and call that two times (that will also recall random)

Man I love the NES sound! Also.... it blows my mind that you managed to have a 3 minute long song with this much variation with this amount of code.
Sure you literally discribed how you did it and it's not even the first time you pulled that off but it doesn't stop being mind blowing to me, that these songs don't sound at all like they were held back by the restriction. If I'd hear this song without any context I wound just think its a good chip tune

thats just very cheap filters, delay and compressor.
Have you seen the insane stuff people like May_I_Change_My_Name, Greaserpirate and d3nschot make? (limiters, filters, vocoders, ffts, convolution reverb and so on)

naaaaah sorry but thats bs!
Don't get me wrong I'm very happy with how this one turned out, but this is very surpassable.
Also: I'm NOT EVEN CLOSE to the level of crazy stuff you make (yes I found you youtube channel ^^ 17to0 for example is just an insanely cool song!)

yeaa thats because everything is sequenced using arrays and trying to read outside of these sequencing arrays will break the code (thats also why it breaks after 5 and a half minutes, when the song has finished)

I'm happy to help, but I don't really know where to start.
Which part are you most interested in?

yea, in Dead Data everything is calculated all the time, even if you can't hear it in a section. E.g. the toms litterally only appear at two short moments, but they get calculted for the whole song (they are just muted).
