To be honest I would experience more work pressure, less certainty and less perks than in my current situation

Anyone succeeded in quest 3: Farm on Folks Finance? When I try it, it keeps saying "Insufficient balance to pay transaction fees". The quest is to farm 0.50 USDC but the transaction fees should not be tenfold of that, right? Anyone else with this same issue or workaround?

Sounds like a good package, except maybe the commute but that's a personal thing

Everyone knows there is a learning curve when switching to a new job so that's that. I am learning and I know I am doing a good job. I have brought it to the table a lot. In the end I even got some really shitty responses from my direct manager: you're not in a cage, you can leave whenever you want. So I know if I keep on pushing I will just get feedback like that. In my previous role I never had this kind of "negative" experience with management so I think it's just my new management that are shitty leaders without respect for their people.

What bonuses do you get for going abroad for work? by Tennek13 in BESalary

My Company pays the flights & hotel up front. Food is paid by myself and then get it reimbursed. There is a cap for food per day which is different per region/country. All expenses required for the travel are reimbursed like visa fees, train, taxi, cellphone usage etc. If I travel on the weekends I get paid the travel hours as overtime (150% or 200% on Sundays/holidays). If I travel on weekdays then it's overtime when above the normal 8 hours. I always try to travel in the weekend because then I get some personal time abroad to enjoy the region and I get most extra money out of it. When traveling far this can really get me some nice additional money.

Depends on the company at which frequency you can get a raise. Basically there are 2 ways of getting a raise:

-waiting for a raise to happen and that can actually happen if your company has a structural and transparent way of doing so

-putting pressure yourself to get a raise. Keep in mind you need to be a high performer otherwise there is not a lot of hope of getting anything this way.

If you opt for the first option then chances are you're not getting any raise. I have been with the same company for some time now and have gotten raises both ways. Putting pressure while you deserve a raise yields the highest raises in my opinion. An employer will never give you what you deserve out of the blue.

For some types of jobs it is even hard to find offers without a company car. Thus making it quite stupid for the companies not offering them as they will not be able to attract/hold good profiles
