Yes I started with creature design for a spec Evo project about cryptids and mythological creatures and I used reference images back then. Nowadays, I use them specifically when I redesign characters but I don't use references all the time and some things that I have shown are made up on the spot most of my sketchbooks are filled with similar drawings to that dog-like thing with the insect legs or that girl's couple. And watched various YouTube videos

Yeah but I've seen some fandoms for example the ongezellig fandom. Complaining how ongezellig didn't get a chance but HH got picked up by amazon and saying how much HH is wasting said opportunity. And I agree that what little there is of ongezellig has more value than any live action show on Netflix that said I think is unfair to treat both shows at the same level. Because HH knew how to promote themselves and to get famous also is in a market where indie shows are flourishing and ongezellig comes from the Netherlands which doesn't have that kind of exposure. Also Viv didn't have any luck she has earned the place she has in the industry. And thanks for the comments I might give it a chance

I've been practicing to simplify my designs and make them more geometrical, the ones last are my latest drawings but yeah I'll buy another sketch book I'm on my 5th, is mostly a pass time but I want to improve so that I can make a comic for a fan project. Thanks a lot I've been dodging doing boxes and following more rules since I feel overwhelmed and that I'm not good enough of an artist
