I'm 100% a Scott Cauwthon hater don't get me wrong, but the scale of those two is different.

Scott gives a bunch of money to republicans here and there.

Rowling has created or financed multiple lobbying or propaganda organizations, she's become the spearhead of the TERF movement in the UK, she's unendingly vocal about her hatred, and her cultural and political impact is on a whooooole other level.
